Taking an air conditioning break right now at our Hudson (upstate New York) house as the boyfriend is on a cooking rampage (aka: in his happy zone). This week has been bat shit cray. Well... busy. Not only was there a jam-packed social weekend (the boyfriend and I love being hermits glued to HBO GO or Netflix), but then my first week (well, three days) at my new job. It was great and the people seem cool (Shake Shack social until they run out of burgers & beer?! Ummm. Yes, please.) and now a relaxing long holiday weekend in my favorite place on earth - Hudson, NY - to celebrate 'Merica. Fuck yea.This little break has given me a minute to upload my pictures from the winery tours we took in Long Island last weekend with friends. It was a fabulous day despite the intense heat. We went to three wineries. Two were very relaxing and lovely and the last one was more of a low-key Boardy Barn bachelorette-filled situation. And I learned that despite our age and marital status, if you put 14 drunk people in a limo, a major dance party will ensue with alcohol flying everywhere. It was fantastic. And will definitely become an annual thing. Okay, time to get my drink & tanning on. Happy birthday 'Merica. Stay golden.
