HUDSON, NY: Which means playing with the goose (Lucy, the American dingo/carolina dog), laying in the backyard, BBQ'ing, drinking local, HORSE battles on the basketball court, cheap movie nights, and not to mention stocking up at
Hudson-Chatham winery.

BASEBALL: I've been so busy with grad school that I've only been to one baseball game this season (oh the horror!) and it was in Canada (oh the horror!) and not even the national league (make it stop!). It's time for Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones game for this girl. Oh & hopefully an after-game concert that is better than Third Eye Blind in DC (never forget) - high hopes for Foreigner.

COLUMBIA COUNTY FAIR: Upstate's hottest
county fair has it all - yuppies, white trash, confederate flags, fried kool-aid (didn't know it was possible), pig races, cattle competition, an epic beer tent, tractor pulls, I can go on and on. It's been one of my favorite places for as long as I can remember.
BEACH TIME: Got one pre-NKOTB, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees concert beach sesh in. And it doesn't look great. There is one potential Jersey Shore (don't knock it till you try it) weekend in the future. But I may be relying on the amazingly quiet and peaceful nook of Central Park in my corner of the city to get my tan on. Damn you security door blocking me from the roof!
